The Nissan Silvia is a compact, rear-wheel-drive sports car manufactured by Nissan Motors, Japan. The first generation Silvia was produced in small numbers for a short time in the 1960s. From the mid-1970s until 2002, the Silvia was mass-produced. For export markets, several generations of the Silvia were marketed under the 200SX name. The Silvia's competitors included the Honda Prelude, Toyota Celica, and Mitsubishi Eclipse.
